Offering Individualized Mental Health Care
Dr. Catherine Permin, DNP, APRN, is a board-certified nurse practitioner specializing in mental health care for diverse patients across the lifespan. Born into a Danish family and raised in France, she developed a strong appreciation for cultural diversity. After traveling globally while working in the horse industry, she settled in central Kentucky. Fluent in English, French, and Spanish, Dr. Permin provides culturally responsive, patient-centered care to individuals and families of all backgrounds.
Dr. Permin is board certified as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. She specializes in comprehensive psychiatric evaluation and evidence-based medication management, carefully diagnosing conditions and optimizing treatment plans. She is dedicated to serving underserved individuals facing health disparities.
Patient advocacy is central to my role as a provider. I deliver compassionate, patient-centered care that prioritizes each individual’s goals, values, and lived experience. My commitment is to improve access to timely, effective mental health treatment while promoting collaboration, dignity, and meaningful outcomes for every patient I serve.
